Oppose the third runway at Heathrow and the abolition of runway alternation
We, the undersigned residents of the London Borough of Haringey are against the proposed addition of a third runway to Heathrow Airport.
We are also opposed to the abolition of, or any reduction in, the practice of runway alternation.
Although our Borough is not within the the area that is the most immediately affected by these proposals, we believe that an attack on the environment in West London is an attack on the environment of all Londoners, and we are of the view that as airport traffic increases, it is only a matter of time before we too will suffer unacceptable levels of noise and air pollution, and before we too will be at placed at risk of a catastrophic accident.
